Former Assam chief minister and veteran Congress leader Tarun Gogoi (86) passed away after falling critically ill due to COVID-19. He took his last breath on Monday after fighting for about three weeks with COVID-19 at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Guwahati.
Sadly, he passed away on Monday evening. Gogoi was admitted to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) on November 2 due to COVID 19 symptoms.
